Motorola Razr 2025 teaser hints at new foldables, and a mystery third device

Motorola Razr 2025 teaser just landed, and it’s already sparking wild theories. The short clip doesn’t just tease upgrades to the usual Razr foldables — it throws AI front and center, and even slips in a third mystery device. The tagline? “Make it Iconic.”

Galaxy S25 Ultra deal

From the jump, the Motorola Razr 2025 teaser shows off two foldable phones. But blink, and you’ll catch it: three devices briefly flash on-screen. Naturally, that set off a wave of speculation. Are we getting a whole new category of device alongside the Razr and Razr+ (or Razr Ultra, depending where you are)? It sure looks that way.

Then there’s the AI angle. The video wraps up with the two phones forming the letters “AI” — Motorola’s not exactly being subtle here. The company’s been building out its Moto AI suite over the past year, working with Google Cloud to push smarter device interactions. Word is, these new foldables could even pack a dedicated AI button, making it easier to summon the assistant on the fly. That’d be a nice touch.

Now, here’s the odd bit. The phones in the teaser don’t really match the Razr leaks we’ve seen so far. The camera layout looks off — almost like it belongs to a different lineup altogether. Some folks are wondering if Motorola’s been throwing us off the scent. Others think this could be an entirely new foldable category. Honestly? The design feels more Moto G Stylus than Razr, but with a foldable twist.

Motorola is also pulling the launch forward to April 24, which is unusual. Normally, Razr announcements hit in the summer. Clearly, Motorola wants to strike early this year — maybe to get ahead of Samsung and OPPO in the foldable game.

If they can pull this off — solid hardware, smart AI features, and maybe a third surprise device — Motorola might have its strongest Razr lineup yet. We’ll know soon enough.
