Creases on foldable phones are an inevitable part of its design. However, some foldable phones do have creases that aren’t as obvious compared to others. Unfortunately, the crease on the upcoming Samsung tri-fold smartphone won’t be very subtle, at least that’s what the rumors are claiming.

According to a post on X by @PandaFlashPro, they claim that the crease on the Samsung tri-fold smartphone will be similar to that of the Galaxy Z Fold 6. From what we’ve seen of the Fold 6, the crease isn’t as obvious compared to previous iterations, but it is still quite obvious compared to other phones.

This means that if you were hoping for a less visible crease, you might be disappointed. The post also reveals additional details about the handset. This includes how it will feature flat sides similar to the upcoming Fold 7. Right now, the prototype has the cameras placed in the center of the phone and it will have similar rings surrounding the cameras as the Fold 7.

We heard the rumors that the handset could be known as the Galaxy G Fold. The handset is also rumored to sport a 6.49-inch outer display and when fully unfolded, will feature a 9.96-inch display. The handset will launch later this year but it might not be announced alongside the Fold 7 and Flip 7 phones. It will also be available in select markets at the start before making its way to more markets in the future.
