Hardware & Design

The OnePlus Watch 3 sports a stainless-steel body with a titanium PVD bezel, available in Emerald Titanium and Obsidian Titanium. It features a 1.5-inch LTPO flexible display protected by 2D sapphire crystal. The Watch 3 includes a rotating crown for navigation, making this a first for OnePlus smartwatches. The smartwatch has also been designed for durability and meets MIL-STD-810H military standards. It also comes with IP68 and 5ATM water resistance, making it ready for a variety of scenarios, whether you’re outdoors on a hike or going for a swim.

Performance & Battery Life

Powering the Watch 3 is OnePlus’ new Dual-Engine Architecture. This combines the Snapdragon W5 chipset for performance-heavy tasks and the BES2800 MCU Efficiency chipset for background processes. This setup allows the watch to seamlessly switch between Wear OS 5 and RTOS, optimizing performance and efficiency. According to OnePlus, the 631mAh Silicon NanoStack battery provides users with up to 16 days in power-saving mode, 5 days in smart mode, and 3 days under heavy usage. A quick 10-minute charge provides a full day of use.

Software & Features

The OnePlus Watch 3 runs on Wear OS 5 and offers improved integration with Google apps. This includes Gmail and Google Wallet. A standout feature is the 60s Health Check-In, which tracks heart rate, SpO2, wrist temperature, vascular health, sleep, and mental well-being. Fitness enthusiasts have access to over 100 sports modes, enhanced GPS tracking, and detailed workout insights, including fat-burning efficiency and posture analysis for runners.

Pricing & Availability

The OnePlus Watch 3 is priced at $329.99 USD / $449.99 CAD and is available for pre-order starting February 18. Official sales kick off beginning February 25. From February 18 to March 31, customers can use code TIME1010 for an additional $30 USD / $50 CAD discount. This brings the final price down to $299.99 USD / $399.99 CAD.
