Google’s February 2025 Update Arrives for Pixel Devices

Google recently announced that it’s rolling out the February 2025 software patch for supported Pixel devices, which come with fixes for certain bugs as well as the latest monthly security update. The update is available for several Pixel phones including the Pixel 6 series, Pixel 7 series, Pixel 8 series, and the Pixel 9 series devices, as well as the Pixel Fold and Pixel tablet.

With that in mind, the update includes a fix for audio problems when using Android Auto in certain conditions, as well as issues when attempting to connect a Pixel phone to certain Bluetooth devices. Last month’s January update addressed a number of issues, including a persistent screen flashing problem which affected Pixel 9 models.

A while back, Google announced that it would be pushing out an update for the discontinued Pixel 4a, although many users have since complained that the update severely affected their phone’s battery endurance.

Users can check out the new update by heading into Settings > System > Software Updates > System update.
